This month, Affinity Strategies is proud to celebrate eight years of service to its clients and the healthcare industry. We will be featuring some of our hardworking and passionate employees who put their all into serving our clients.

Cayla Marconi is no stranger to adapting to change. In fact, when Covid forced many companies to do the large shift from face-to-face interactions to virtual settings, Affinity Strategies thrived.

“Because of our quick pivot to a virtual office, we were able to adapt a lot faster than the average company,” she said. “Our clients have flourished with online education, and it forced everyone to adapt to the new age of technology.”

Cayla Marconi joined the Affinity Strategies team in July 2016 as its first full-time position, transitioning from a global logistics company to a client services role. She was introduced to Founder and CEO Elizabeth Schumacher by Marconi’s sister-in-law who was interning while still in college.

In the years since, Marconi has seen incredible growth within the company.

“In the past eight years, the company has grown internally and externally at a rapid rate,” Marconi said. “With our clients, I have seen the industry pivot very quickly to a virtual world and be successful with it.”

Currently, Marconi serves as both Account Executive to three of Affinity’s clients and Director of Client Success within the organization.

“My day-to-day is managing client expectations, attending to Affinity employees that need help problem solving client issues, training some of our new staff and transitioning new and existing clients,” stated Marconi.

Marconi strives to help clients provide the best educational content to its members. Looking to the future, she believes Affinity Strategies will only continue to flourish in the digital space.

“Affinity has a unique model that allows us to tailor our services, personalities and digital content to serve the client in a virtual world,” Marconi stated.

For Marconi, passion is at the heart of what Affinity does as a team and strives to do moving forward.

“I am passionate because we have a leader who is passionate,” Marconi said. “We have clients who are saving lives on a daily basis. When they succeed, we succeed!”

One fun fact about the Affinity team is that everyone is connected in some way by a family member or friend, Marconi noted. And the genuine care for clients is evident in the entire team. “At Affinity you get real people who care about the mission our clients have,” Marconi noted. “Not a lot of places can say they have an entire group of people that care and will do anything to make the client happy.”
