Manage and oversee the organizational needs of non-profit healthcare associations. Our goal is to help them fulfil their missions and exceed their own expectations. I also get to serve our clients as the lead in strategic planning and advocacy efforts.
What was your favorite subject in school and why did you enjoy it?
Art! I loved the freedom of expression and creativity.
What three words would friends use to describe you?
Empathetic, outgoing, and funny.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Completing my masters and being a mom.
Aside from necessities, what is one thing could you not go a day without?
Hugs from my husband and kiddos.
What was the last book you read and why did you enjoy (or not enjoy) it?
Becoming Better Grownups: Rediscovering What Matters and Remembering How to Fly. I loved its insight into keeping child-like innocence, curiosity, and zest for fun as an adult.
Who is your biggest influence and why?
My mom. She has persevered through many challenges and loves her kids and grandkids to no end.
What song or album could you listen to on repeat?
Too many to choose as I really love music! I couldn’t live without Paul Simon’s Graceland, Grateful Dead’s American Beauty, Talking Heads Stop Making Sense, LCD Soundsystem and Bob Marley.
What is something that you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t?
Complete the AIDS/Lifecycle bike ride from San Francisco to LA and I need to travel throughout the Middle East and West Africa someday.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
To remember everything is temporary and try as much as possible to live in the now.
